Relieve, flores y efectos 3D, las tendencias que marcó la red carpet de los Critics Choice Awards 2024

Este domingo se llevaron a cabo los Critics Choice Awards 2024 en el Barker Hangar del Aeropuerto de Santa Mónica. Presentados por la humorista Chelsea Handler por segundo año consecutivo, la ceremonia anual honra algunas de las mejores actuaciones del año en cine y televisión.



Con una alfombra roja menos extravagante que la de los Golden Globes la semana pasada, las estrellas no dejaron de derrochar glamour y marcar tendencia. Tal fue el caso de Dua Lipa, Margot Robbie y Emily Blunt, que sorprendieron con sus looks rojizos con flores en relieve.

Los Critics Choice Awards reivindica a 'Barbie' y consagró a 'Succession': lista completa de ganadores





Si bien el filme Oppenheimer, del cineasta británico Christopher Nolan, fue el gran vencedor de la 29 edición de los premios Critics Choice con 8 reconocimientos, incluidos el de mejor película y mejor director, la popular Barbie se reivindicó tras unos Golden Globes empobrecidos en premios, y se embolsó 6 galardones.



"Hemos convencido al público de que una película sobre física cuántica y el apocalipsis nuclear puede valer la pena", dijo Nolan al recibir el premio a mejor director, que se sumó al de mejor película, banda sonora, efectos especiales, edición, fotografía, elenco y actor de reparto (Robert Downey Jr.) por Oppenheimer.



Mientras que Barbie llegaba como favorita tras batir el récord histórico de nominaciones con 19 candidaturas, ganó en los apartados de mejor comedia, canción ('I'm just Ken'), peluquería y maquillaje, diseño de producción, diseño de vestuario y guion original por el trabajo de Greta Gerwig y Noah Baumbach.



En cuanto al apartado de series, The Bear, Beef y Succession, repitieron su hazaña en los Critics Choice tal y como hace una semana que se repartieron el Globo de Oro de las categorías principales: mejor actor, mejor actriz, mejor serie de comedia, mejor mini serie, mejor serie dramática.



Las sorpresas de la noche se dieron en las categorías de mejor actor y actriz en una película, luego de que el estadounidense Paul Giamatti se impuso con The Holdovers al irlandés Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer) como mejor actor.  Y Emma Stone a mejor actriz con Poor Things frente a la favorita Lily Gladstone en Killers of the Flower Moon.



A su vez, la ceremonia condecoró las seis décadas de carrera del célebre Harrison Ford, quien, bajo una lluvia de aplausos por parte de colegas como Robert De Niro o Leonardo DiCaprio, celebró "el esfuerzo de todos por mantener la industria".



Y entregó a la actriz America Ferrera el premio SeeHer, concedido a mujeres que defiendan la igualdad de género y desafíen los estereotipos de la industria.
